Trong Chương 5, "The Gunslinger" (Xạ thủ), khi rời hành tinh Sorgan đến một hành tinh khác, phi thuyền của Mando bị một thợ săn tiền thưởng khác truy đuổi, yêu cầu anh giao nộp Baby Yoda. Sau màn không chiến kịch tính, Mando phá hủy tàu của kẻ thù trong một cuộc đấu trực diện và mạo hiểm. Con tàu của Mando bị hư hỏng nặng sau cuộc đấu nên anh phải hạ cánh tại một trạm sửa chữa gần đó, được điều hành bởi một người phụ nữ tên Peli Motto ở Mos Eisley trên hành tinh Tatooine.
Trong Chương 4, "Sanctuary (Thánh địa)", Mando cố gắng tìm một hành tinh xa xôi để thoát khỏi sự truy đuổi của những kẻ săn lùng Hội Guild, sau sự việc anh giải cứu Baby Yoda. Con tàu của anh cuối cùng đã đến hành tinh Sorgan thưa thớt, nơi anh gặp phải cựu quân nhân của phe Nổi loại tên là Cara Dune. Cô yêu cầu Mando rời đi khỏi Sorgan vì chỉ một trong hai có thể tiếp tục sống tại đó.
Trong Chương 2, "The Sin (Tội ác)", Mando thực hiện giao món hàng là Baby Yoda cho một nhân vật gọi là Khách hàng, thuộc phe Đế chế cũ. Anh kiếm được khoản tiền thưởng khá lớn là thép Beskar - một kim loại quí dùng để chế tác trang phục cho những người Mandalore như anh.
Trong Chương 2, "The Child (Đứa trẻ)", Thợ săn Mando trải qua một cuộc chiến khá căng thẳng mới bắt được đứa trẻ theo đơn đặt hàng. Tình cờ, anh nhận được sự "phối hợp" của một Robot (gọi là Droid) được lập trình để làm công việc tương tự là bắt sống đứa trẻ.
Săn tiền thưởng được miêu tả là sinh kế của những người Mandalorian (Mandalore) sau sự sụp đổ của Đế chế Galatic. Trong Chương một, "The Mandalorian (Người Mandalore)", một người Madalorian thường được gọi là Mando kiếm được một số bạc Calamari Flans từ Thủ lĩnh của Hội săn tiền thưởng (Hội Guild) sau khi anh bắt được vào giao nộp một nhân vật màu xanh.
Rải rác trong các Bộ phim của Star Wars, có những định nghĩa, giải thích về Thần lực nhưng đều rất mơ hồ. Đại khái, có thể hiểu Thần lực là một trường năng lượng xuyên suốt hệ sinh thái thiên hà, để kết nối vạn vật vào nhau. Nói chung là mơ hồ. Nhưng dưới góc độ người yêu điện ảnh, ta có thể hiểu Thần lực là một dạng năng lượng nào đó mà người lĩnh hội có thể triển khai như một phép thuật.

Khi series Thợ săn Mandalorian (The Mandalorian) của hãng Disney khép lại, người ta trầm trồ và tự hỏi vì sao một series Star Wars theo phong cách cổ điển như vậy lại có thể thành công đến thế.

In Chapter 8 – the finale of The Mandalorian Season 1, our heroes are stuck inside the blown out cantina with Moff Gideon and his stormtrooper battalion outside, rolling out an “e-web” cannon and asks Mando team to surrender, unknowing that Baby Yoda is not in their hands.
Meanwhile, the two scout-troopers who killed Kuiil and captured Baby Yoda in the previous Chapter are of the Client, not of Gideon, and they are confused about what’s to be done next after their head was killed. Then IG-11 droid shows up and kills the two scout troopers, taking back Baby Yoda and heads to the town to support Mando. He blasts his way past the guards at the gate and along the streets, approaching the cantina. Our heroes take the opportunity to go on the offensive.
During the fight outside the cantina, Gideon shoots his blaster on the “eweb” power block, making it explode and send the nearby Mando to the ground. This makes the team retreat inside and plans to escape underground through the sewer grate. Gideon sends a fire-trooper to burn them out of the building, and in a critical moment, Baby Yoda shines with his tiny little hands stop the fire and throw it back at the trooper, saving the powerless team at the moment. IG-11 goes to take off Mando’s helmet to heal him, then the two rejoin the other at the Mandalorian Covert, only to find a heaping pile of Mandalorian helmets and the place deserted. The only survivor - the Armorer shows up and tells them that Imperials came here and wiped them all out. The Armorer briefly explains to Mando (his real name is Din at this point) about Baby Yoda’s origin and Mando’s destiny to reunite the Child with his own kind - a tribe of sorcerers known as Jedi. She gives Mando his very first jetpack and his signet—a Mudhorn.
While the Armorer stays still in the Covert to fight the coming Imperials, the team follows the tunnels to the lava river, taking on a craft to head downstream out, but at the end of the tunnel a whole platoon of Stormtroopers waiting in ambush. Mando feel it’s desperate to defeat them. IG-11 goes ahead and self-destructs, blowing up the lot of them. They emerge from the lava tunnel only to see Moff Gideon’s TIE Fighter fast-approaching. Mando straps the jetpack to his back, goes off the sky to reach the flying Fighter, manages to stick an explosive to the arm of the TIE Fighter’s wing before falling off. The Fighter explodes but Gideon is still alive in the crash.
Greef Karga decides to stay on Navarro to rebuild the bounty hunter guild business, with Cara joining him. Mando and the Child head back to their ship and blast off in search of baby Yoda’s people … that may be the great quest of Mando in the second season of The Mandalorian …
Chapter seven of The Mandalorian entitled “The Reckoning” features Mando's return to Navarro after his old pal Greef Carga offers a proposition for him. The reason for such offer is that Navarro has been overrun with Imperial troopers thanks to the Client and now Greef wants the Client dead so he can go about his business as usual.
The plan is Mando can use Baby Yoda as bait to have the chance to approach and murder the Client. Mando accepts that offer mostly because he may be tired of the endless fights with hunters sent by the Client.
In order to carry out that plan, Mando seeks the help of his accquantances uncluding Cara Dune, Kuiil, the reprogrammed IG-11 droid to form a crew landing on Navarro, teaming up with Greef.
On the way heading the the common house of the Client, the crew was attacked by some flying dragons, and Greef was injured badly by one of the creatures which were apparently poisonous. It is Baby Yoda comes over and summons the Force to heal him. This changes the betrayal trap Greef plans on Mando. Much unexpected situtations happens then: Mando's crew is pinned down by Moff Gideon - the brains behind the Client, Kuiil is killed on the way bring Baby Yoda back to the ship, and the Child is captured by Moff's troops.
